Edle och Wälborne Herre!

Den hurtighet som Wälb. Herren förleden wisade mig, giör att jag nu har den ähran påminna om den omtalte proberwichten, den Wälb. Herren lofwade sig skola höra äffter hwad bästa priset woro, där han skulle kiöpas. Hr BromelBromell, Lars von (1713-1782).

upSUMMARY

Linnaeus got to know Erik Benzelstierna in Falun. Linnaeus now reminds Benzelstierna that he promised to ascertain the price of the weights used for assaying metals. With this, Linnaeus has to finish his letter, as Lars von Bromell who is going to Falun and who will bring this letter with him, is in a hurry to start his journey.

The letter has no addressee. He was certainly Erik Benzelstierna, whose acquaintance Linnaeus made during his stay in Falun from December 1733 to February 1734.
