upSUMMARY

Pierre Barrère has just published a part of his book on the natural history of the French Guyana, the Nouvelle relation de la France equinoxiale. He will perhaps some time edit the complete history. He hopes that Linnaeus will accept it with good will and let Barrère know that he has received it.

Barrère is very fond of Linnaeusís works and he wonders if Linnaeus could send them.

Barrère gives his address in Paris, to the tailor Lasserre. In particular he wants the second edition of Genera plantarum.
