upSUMMARY

Johann Philipp Breyne sends the exotic seeds he has promised in the letter from 28 April the same year. Some of them have already come up in his garden. He also sends Georg Andreas Helwingís Flora quasimodo-genita sive Prussica, which contains more varieties than species. Breyne, when young, promoted the publishing as the author was his friend, and he also added a small preface.

The moss recommended for dog bites is very common in the forests where Breyne lives, and he has observed it since 30 years. It is, however, unknown to Jacob Teodor Klein.

Breyne is waiting for Linnaeusís dissertations and the other works mentioned in Linnaeusís latest letter.
