Jag bifaller aldeles Herr Archiaterns mig genom des skrifwelse af d[en] 18. hujus så förtroligen yttrade tankar och är fullkommeligen af samma mening. Herr Archiatern är också försäkrad, att jag hwad wettenskaper och lärde saker widkommer altid med nöye defererar till Hans tänkesätt; men om Riksens Ständer redan lagt handen wid den ena saken beträffande Herr Woltemat, så wet Jag icke i hwad slut dermed stadna torde.

För öfrigit lärer jag icke underlåta att draga mig till minnes hwad H[err] Archiatern uti sitt bref anfört, förblifwandes med all tillgivenhet

to Lovisa Ulrica Tessin. Uncle to
Fredrik Sparre. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.
writes to Linnaeus and assures him that he is of the same opinion as Linnaeus regarding his thoughts expressed in his letter of the 18th of this month [Linnaeus to Tessin, 18 August 1747Letter L0820]. Tessin also assures Linnaeus that he always refers to him regarding questions and opinions about science, but as the Swedish Parliament [Sveriges Riksdag] already has made a decision about Henrik Julius WoltematWoltemat, Henrik Julius
(1723-1765). Swedish. Docent in 1745,
tutor to the Royal family.
