jag tackar H[err] Magistren som will hafwa beswär af commissionen ifrån Berlin genom Brandel.

war gunstig och betala honom dessa 21 d[a]l[e]r kop[par]m[yn]t]; det tycks wara nog drygt för så litet; jag har fått några hundrade; men ingen har tagit ännu någonsin så mycket: dock hielper det intet; man får ej altid giöra och handla per generositet. man måste under tiden betala. giör mig den tiensten och tag reverse där på, så får jag lägga den wid mine räkningar med trägården och betala mig sielf.

for the trouble he had taken with the sending from Berlin through Brandel.

Lidbeck should pay BrandelBrandel, Swedish. Merchant,
Stockholm.
the 21 daler he asks for. Linnaeus thinks it is a lot of money for so little work, but you have to accept such things sometimes.

Lidbeck should see that he gets a receipt for the sum, so that Linnaeus can include it in his bookkeeping with the garden and get it refunded from there.
