and has again been pleased, impressed and instructed by it. There can be no more beautiful sermon concerning God and Nature. Höpken feels obliged to tell Linnaeus his high estimation of Linnaeus’s thoughts and how much he admires Linnaeus for his understanding of Nature and his ability to use his knowledge to inform and improve Mankind. Höpken wishes Linnaeus good health and a long life, for the good of the country and the benefit of Mankind, which will also give Höpken further opportunity to express his high esteem of Linnaeus.
