Min kiäre Broder.

Nu går rötemånaden in, och blomstren begynna komma i sin fägring.

När kommer Min k[iäre] Broder ifrån himlen neder till oss som bo på jorden? Men då måste M[in] Br[roder] icke taga Guda magen med sig, utan lefwa tarfweligit med strömming och wälling. jag wäntar med nästa post få wetta, när M[in] k[iäre] Br[roder] kommer.

will leave his heaven and come to visit him, a common man on the earth. However, Bäck should be prepared to be served herring and gruel. Linnaeus expects to hear from Bäck by the next mail to know when he arrives.
