Min K[iäre] Herr Archiater,

Jag kan eij nog beskrifwa, med hwad bekymmer, jag nu först nyligen fått höra, det H. Archiatern altsedan dess hemkomst ifrån Drottningholm, warit af en swår Fluss beswärad. Jag önskar så i anseende till allmänn nytta, som den synnerliga del min ömma wännskap tager i H[err] Archiatrens wälmåga, att dess hälsa måtte fullkomligen wara återställd.

Hennes K[ongliga] M[ajeste]t (:som dess nådiga hälsning anmäler:) har, för twenne dagar sedan, ifrån Amsterdam, inbekommit 61. askar med wähl conserverade Insecter och Sommar Foglar, jemte deras afritningar i mignature af den berömda Cornelia Ryck, en hustru af Schynvoet, som, jemte sina Anmärkningr, utgifwit Rumphii Amboinische Rariteit Kamer.

Jag hoppas att denna samblingen, samt de härliga Paradis och Konungs Foglar, hwilka, med samma tillfälle, blifwit hitsände lära uppå min wärde Herr Archiater, äga all den wärkan, som önskas kan; och att jag således innan kårt får äga det efterlängtade nöijet att munteligen förnya den högacktning med hwilken jag har den äran att städse framhärda,

to Lovisa Ulrica Tessin. Uncle to
Fredrik Sparre. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.
writes to Linnaeus, hoping that he now has recovered from the severe flew, which has bothered him since he returned from Drottningholm. He reports that the Queen [Lovisa UlrikaLovisa Ulrika, (1720-1782).

], who is sending her regards, has received from Amsterdam 61 boxes of well conserved insects and summer birds as well as miniature-paintings of them. The miniature paintings were made by the well-known Cornelia Ryck [Cornelia de RijckRijck, Corneilia de
