Västgöta journey in 1746.
Correspondent of Linnaeus.
asks Linnaeus if a journey that he is planning will benefit his future career and if he will see anything in Prussia except mulberry trees, which are said to be what is in fashion for the moment.

If Lidbeck could save 100 dukater for the following year, he will make the journey that Linnaeus has outlined for him, and then he would start so early in the year that he would be sure to return early in the autumn.
