is certain that Linnaeus has received his letter and also the seeds, dried plants and fossils that he sent him in January 1752 [presumably the undated letter from Wachendorff to LinnaeusLetter L1525]. However, he has received no answer. Conrad WishoffWishoff, Conrad (?-?). Dutch.
Publisher in Leiden 1710-1750. Wishoff
published Classes plantarum and
Genera plantarum by Linnaeus as
well as Pehr Artediís
Ichtyologia. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.
has addressed Wachendorff and asked him whether he would like to publish some works by Linnaeus that Wishoff had once printed. Wachendorff declared himself willing to undertake this work. Wachendorff would especially like to publish Linnaeusís Genera plantarum [it is unclear which edition Wachendorff refers to, a fourth edition was published in 1752, Genera plantarumLinnaeus, Carl Genera
