Correspondent of Linnaeus. has been longing for an opportunity to congratulate Linnaeus, and now that he has heard that Linnaeus has become riddare av Nordstjärneorden [Knight of the Polar Star] he feels he has a reason to write to Linnaeus. Preis has heard it commented upon approvingly. Preis hopes Linnaeus will live long and stimulate many young Swedes to follow him and to guarantee Sweden a prominent place in science among the nations of the world.
