sista postdag war jag förhindrad at upwachta min President.

i dag fick [jag] innelychte ifrån D[octo]r Wahlbom.

Huru går Bergius uht med sin text.

jag skrifwer alla dagar på Hennes M[ajeste]ts cabbinett.

Intet nytt utifrån. Loefling sänder några få örter, men beklagar sig för hettan, och att intet regn kommit på 1/2 åhrs tid.

jag önskar upphållswäder at jag fingo på ett par dagar taga luft utom staden.

Min Br[oder] frågar om ej Med[icinae] studiosi itererat desse experimenta anatomica här; där på bör Anatomiae Professoren swara. wij hafwa dragits om voteringen till Historiarum Professionen. nytt wet jag i dag intet. Lef säll.

Linnaeus has not heard anything from abroad. Pehr LöflingLöfling, Pehr (1729-1756).
Swedish. Botanist and explorer. Studied
under Linnaeus. Went to Spain in 1751
and took part in the Spanish expedition
to Venezuela in 1754, where he died.

sends a few plants but suffers from the heat and from the fact that no rain has fallen for half a year [Löfling to Linnaeus, 14 May 1753Letter L1586].

Linnaeus wants some days free of rain so that he can leave the city for a while.

Bäck had asked if the students of medicine had not repeated the experiments. It is the professor of anatomy that should answer that.
