natural history objects. He assisted
Linnaeus’s career in many ways. Married
to Lovisa Ulrica Tessin. Uncle to
Fredrik Sparre. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.

(1723-1779). Swedish. Chemist and
metallurgist. Studied under Linnaeus.
University teacher of chemistry.
Correspondent of Linnaeus.
will arrive in Stockholm at the end of next week to deliver the stone collection.

Linnaeus has not found any more suitable person for this expedition. He has inspected the collection [from the mining district in Bergslagen, se Linnaeus to Tessin, 8 February 1757Letter L2152] and found it full of exquisite stones that will please Tessin.

Tessin will be pleased about the costs as Tidström has spent only a limited amount of money and few people would be able to make a journey like that for the same cost.

Linnaeus hopes that Tessin will continue his protection and support of Tidström
