who left to travel to Bergslagen more than two months ago to collect minerals. Tidström did not come back until this afternoon.

Linnaeus writes that he hopes that it will still be possible to send the shipments of minerals that Tessin has promised various correspondents and that the ships have not already sailed.

Linnaeus writes that Tidström has visited Rättvik, Falun, Norberg, Bilsberg, Sahlberg etc. and that he has collected as many minerals as two horses can pull.

Linnaeus asks Tessin to inform him by Friday’s post if Tidström shall visit him the following Saturday or on the Monday. Linnaeus prefers him to arrive on the Monday as this will give Linnaeus time to examine the minerals. Linnaeus writes that he is extremely busy with meetings at the Consistorium [Board] of Uppsala UniversityUppsala Universitets konsistorium,
