Nu ser jag att M[in] Br[or] har rätt, att då M[in] Br[or] står wähl hos sin öfwerhet, så kan han giöra Medicinen, Medicis och mine Disciplar godt. Tack för Hartman; M[in] Br[or] har talat som en Parens Medicinae et Medicorum. Nu hafwa wij giort wårt; hielper intet det, så måste man tola.

Hwad D[octo]r Kaehler angår, så blef Konungens bref om hans stipendii continuation inprotocollerat i Consistorio förleden onsdags. jag skall först höra om Hofint[endent] Julin har p[en]g[a]r inne, så wet jag att jag får; jag [hade] skolat gifwit mine egne, om jag ej dem utsatt; ty ingen pant är säkrare än denna, som aldrig kan fela. mer här om nästa post.

i dag hade jag bref af H[err] Loefling, som gick ifrån Madrit d[en] 14 october, åt Cadix, och tänker oförtöfwat där ifrån gå till America. han fick till kläder 1500 plåtar, och får i lön utom tractamenter och alt det han behöfwer 10, 000 R[iksdaler]s de vellon. så att han tyckes giöra lycka.

Huru snart kommer Arch[iater] Rosen hem?

i dag hafwa wij haft ett grufweligt wäder. här talas endast om Länshöfdinge[n] i Westerbot[e]n.

Löfling had got 1,500 daler for clothes and will get 10,000 as salary plus subsistence allowance, so he seems to be doing well.
