upSUMMARY

In November 1753 Daniel Gottfried SchreberSchreber, Daniel Gottfried
(1708-1777). German. Professor of
agriculture and economics at
Bützow, the father of Johann
Christian Daniel von Schreber.
Correspondent of Linnaeus.
sent Linnaeus a letter [Schreber to Linnaeus, 6 November 1753Letter L1674] and seeds. He then asked Linnaeus to send him seeds and Swedish works. Schreber can manage without the works, since there will be German translations, but he entreats Linnaeus to send the seeds.

Schreber encloses one of his works [presumably a work on Linum perenne, see Linnaeus to Bäck, 21 May 1754Letter L1761]

There is a long list of plants whose seeds Schreber would like to receive.
