Ad iteratam meam petitionen nullum responsum obtinui, et ne quidem verbum. Intellexi ab aliis, quod D[ominus] Peterson discederet propediem et quod D[ominus] Arch[iater] Baeck locum ad aulam occuparet; forte Tua propria eloquentia in loco posset efficere, ut aliquot dies laetos mecum Upsaliae propediem transigeres. Ego evasi felix justo tempore.

Quid facit apud vos D[ominus] Holm, qui nondum accessit?

Accepi e seminibus Theligonum plantam, quam antea numquam vidi, ne quidem siccam.

Vale dulcissime, et si poteris industria et sapientia Tua evadere, me propediem adeas. Vale!

Linnaeus has not got any answer to his repeated invitations to Abraham BäckBäck, Abraham (1713-1795).

would leave Ulriksdal and that Bäck would take his place as physician-in-ordinary to the court. Linnaeus hopes that Bäck can arrange to spend some days in Uppsala with Linnaeus before that. Linnaeus is also glad that he had been able to leave Ulriksdal in time.

Linnaeus has managed to get a Theligonum from seeds. He has not seen it before, not even as a dry specimen.

Linnaeus hopes Bäck can arrange for his visit to Uppsala.
