notes and diary. The issues are specified as follows:

1. The reports should be printed as soon as possible.

2. Is Linnaeus permitted to make a deal on the printing with somebody who would do it without charge, as an ordinary publisher?

3. Shall the descriptions of species of animals, birds, fishes, plants and others be placed at the different points of the diary of the journey, or shall they be presented together at the end, with numbers as references between them?

4. Who shall be responsible for the implementation of what the Queen decides?

5. Will Linnaeus be permitted to read the proof before printing? Nobody else could do so and guarantee that it is done correctly.

6. Is a large octavo format permitted, which will be the best for a reader?

7. Must the printing be postponed until Hasselquist’s original autograph arrives? The copy available may contain mistakes made by the copyist. [Hasselquist’s reports were published in 1757, Iter Palaestinum eller resa til heliga landetHasselquist, Fredrik Iter
