Oss är berättat att H[err] Professoren skolat fått ett ulcus oris malignum. är det cariosum äller fistulosum bör R[a]d[ix] Britannica brukas; är det cancrosum måste infusum Belladonae brukas oförtöfwat.

Linnaeus has heard that Erik Gustaf LidbeckLidbeck, Erik Gustaf
(1724-1803). Swedish. Professor of
natural history and economy at Lund.
Studied under Linnaeus. Accompanied
Linnaeus as secretary on his
Västgöta journey in 1746.
Correspondent of Linnaeus.
has got a nasty sore in his mouth. If it is carious or fistulous, Radix Britannica should be used, but if it is cancerous, an infusion of Belladonna must be applied immediately.
