Åman är en braf dygdig gosse, men doger aldeles intet till Provincialis på flere åhr. Medicinen har nog lidit genom en slät Medicus, dubbelt wäre blifwer om denne ej är bättre.

Tuwen bör hielpas, som en god och fattig gosse; men aldrig hade han bort läsa Botaniquen, mer än Anatomien i stockholms residence. Rolander borde hafwa någon pension, men aldrig läsa för medicis Mat[eriam] Medicam, det essentiellaste af Medicinen; utan wähl insecterne. Huru kan man undgå att höra opprobria.

Aldrig skall facultas Upsaliensis i min tid colludera med chirurgis, det må Br[oder] wara säker, om älliest jag har något att säga

jag håller på med nosocomii wärket i Upsala att få det i stånd; mitt memorial är färdigt. få se hur det aflöper. R[osén] ligger här och wäntar på att saken skall företagas.

Hälsa med min wördnad nådiga Fru Syster och sötungen.

Låt de som anmäla sig i Collegio upwisa sina attestata at de undergått examen, så skall K[ongliga] Coll[egium] få se hwilka äro swaga, hwilka starka, hwilka improberade. De få del utan omkostnad. Det äro ej alla af lika art. Colleg[ium] bör det wett[a].

should have some pension, and he should never have taught medical herbs, the most important part of medicine, but rather insects. Some criticism is inevitable in these things.

The Faculty of Medicine in Uppsala will not cooperate with the surgeons, as long as Linnaeus has anything to say.
