Linnaeus has several questions for Lampa.

I. What herb is generally used for enemas in Surinam?

II. What kind of wood causes a deep red colour with soap in water?

What root is used by the Indians for food? Perhaps Batatas, a kind of Convolvulus. What root do they have that will remove swellings. Other similar questions follow.

As Linnaeus plans to quote and thank Lampa in one of his books, he wants to know Lampaís first name.

Linnaeus would be glad to receive him in Uppsala.
