Wij fägna oss alla at snart få se här en nådig Konung, en wis Drotning, en hurtig Arfprintz och en skiön Printzessa.

Hoppas då få under mitt tak min kiäraste giäst H[err] Arch[iater] Baeck.

i Dag dog Voitländer af apoplexie;

Älliest är här tärnmeligen tyst; jag har på ett par weckor intet hört af några koppor i staden, fast de utom staden äro nog häftiga; Upsala febren är rarare i Upsala än i stockholm; Adjuncten Sidren är litet siuk på Haga hos fru Falkenberg att hans fru med dett hon bär uti obscuro, måste resa dit.

i dag har warit en hiskelig blåst och storm, med regn; jag hoppas att där äfter [ej] blifwer siukt. Voigtländer, ehuru han intet kunne gå, åkte ut at jaga, men kom hem siuk i lördags och i morros dog.

Lät mig wetta när M[in] Br[oder] kommer hit, till hwad dag; och håll till godo en fattig wäns ringa lägenhet.

Uppsala is rather quiet. Smallpox has not been heard of for a couple of weeks, although it is found in the surrounding areas. The Uppsala fever is less common in Uppsala than in Stockholm. Jonas SidrénSidrén, Jonas

at Haga, pretending illness, so his pregnant wife Wendla Sidrén has gone there too.

The weather is very wet and stormy, and Linnaeus hopes that it will not cause much illness. Voigtlender had gone out to hunt, although he was not well, and he returned sick last Saturday and died this morning.

Linnaeus wants to be informed of when Bäck comes to Uppsala.
