Correspondent of Linnaeus.
} writes to tell Linnaeus in the strictest confidence about a meeting with the Secret Committee [Sekreta Utskottet Sekreta Utskottet, Swedish.
Committee of the Swedish parliament,
where foreign policy was discussed.
] where the pearl fishing method has been discussed and that the delegates finally were convinced of the credibility of the method and Linnaeus might be paid 5 or 6000 Pl [copper plate]. This will be further discussed and until the final decision is made Funck asks Linnaeus to keep the information to himself.

Funck makes excuses for the short letter due to the departure of the outward post.
