upSUMMARY

Linnaeus thanks Daniel TilasTilas, Daniel (1712-1772).
Swedish. Nobleman. Mineralogist,
official heraldist, genealogist.
Correspondent of Linnaeus.
for his concern about the design of Linnaeusís coat of arms. He noticed that Tilas seemed to be tired of the whole issue at the end.

The coat of arms pleases Linnaeus very much, and he thinks it is more beautiful than he is worth.

Linnaeus leaves Tilas to decide if anything should be added as a support for the flower in the drawing. Linnaeus asks for StrömStröm, Swedish.
Secretary.
to inform him when the coat of arms has been finally approved and has passed the censors. He expects to receive a picture of it.
