jag har mycket talt wid Falken, men han kan intet resol¬vera sig där till.

H[err] Hernquist har begiärt betänke tid till nästa postdag, om han då finner sig, skall han lägga in till K. collegium. Han är arbetsamast.

Fagraeus woro där till klipt och skuren.

Blom kunne och wara där till tienlig. Men utom dem wet ja ingen; och om någon odugelig tages, går det där med, som med Tursen; ty där will mera [till] att kiöra än slå på

cannot decide.

Peter HernqvistHernquist, Peter (1726-1808).
Swedish. Veterinarian. Studied at
Uppsala under Linnaeus, at Greifswald,
Lyon and Paris. He established Sweden’s
first school of veterinary medicine at
Skara. Correspondent of Linnaeus.
has asked for time for consideration. If he decides, he will apply to Collegium medicum. He is the most industrious of them.

Jonas Theodor FagraeusFagraeus, Jonas Theodor
(1729-1797). Swedish. Physician at
Alingsås. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.
would be very suitable.

Carl Magnus BlomBlom, Carl Magnus (1737-1815).
Swedish. Studied in Uppsala under
Linnaeus 1755-1763. Provincial physician
in Dalecarlia. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.
would also be possible.

Linnaeus does not know of anybody else, and if an unsuitable person were chosen it will be the same result as with Erland TursénTursén, Erland
(1722-1777). Swedish. Student of
Linnaeus, the first veterinary surgeon
in Sweden.
. It would be hard to make him useful.
