Job BasterBaster, Job (1711-1775).
Dutch. Naturalist, doctor of medicine,
Leiden. Correspondent of Linnaeus.
mentions that he had sent Linnaeus some plates two or three months earlier, and now he adds to that material a delineation and a description of a flowering Salicornia.

As he is eager to send that text to the printer, he asks Linnaeus to answer very soon if there is something in it that Linnaeus is not pleased with.

P.S. Baster acknowledges receipt of a letter from Linnaeus [this letter has not come down to us].
