Linnaeus wishes to recommend his son-in-law [Carl Fredrik BergencrantzBergencrantz, Carl Fredrik
(1726-1792). Swedish. Officer in the
Royal Westrobothnia regiment. Married
Linnaeusís eldest daughter Elisabeth
Christina in 1764. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.
] to Fersen, as he merits something better. Linnaeus reminds Fersen that he promised something good at the next meeting of Parliament and now that Fersen himself holds the reins it only needs one word from him since the entire nation is obliged to him and loves him.

Linnaeus mentions that a commissionerís post in the bank is available. If Fersen should only say to the proper person the three words, Fac ut faciam, then he and Linnaeusís daughter [Elisabeth Cristina LinnaeaBergencrantz, Elisabeth Christina
