För p[en]g[a]rne aflägger jag ödmiuk tacksäjelse. äfter jag bor på landet öfwer ferierne, kunne jag ej swara med förra posten.

Profess[or] Müller är transporterad ifrån Academien till inspection af barnhus inrättningen med fördelachtigare lön, och academiens totala undergång.

Archiater Lerche är nu min endaste correspondent; men en Doctor, som några åhr läsit Botaniquen i Petersburg, wäntas hit desse dagar, att språka med mig på ett åhr; af honom få wi wetta hela tillståndet.

Så är den hederliga Grefwinnan Ramel afsomnad; det war en heders fru.

Min artiga Inspector Schildt i packhuset, som i så många åhr hulpit mig med mine utländske commissioner är ock afsomnad.

Den arbetssamme Clercken har äfwen slutat sina ögon. Gud låte nu Academien som hon begynt wårda hans werk, att det ej förgås; ty wettenskaperne hafwa aldrig ännu sedt prydesammare.

Säg mig till hwem jag skall skrifwa i Paris och tacka för de lämnade wärken, antingen till academien i gemen äller till academiens secreter. Dennes namn har jag förgiätit; huru heter han?
