Correspondent of Linnaeus.
has published his botanical work [Farsetia, novum genusTurra, Antonio Farsetia,
novum genus. : Accedunt animadversiones
quaedam botanicae
(Venice, 1765).
] and sends a copy to Linnaeus. The new genus Farsetia is discussed.

Turra complains that Linnaeus has not yet answered two letters that he sent the previous year [these letters have not come down to us].

Turra has seen that Linnaeusís new Species plantarumLinnaeus, Carl Species
plantarum
(Stockholm 1762-1763).

has been emendated and augmented. He has gone through the plants and observations in the appendix and been amazed to find that the plants he sent are published in the name of Pietro ArduinoArduino, Pietro (1728-1805).
