Linnaeus writes to Carl Magnus BlomBlom, Carl Magnus (1737-1815).

in Dalecarlia. Correspondent of
Linnaeus.
to tell him that the plant he sent is an Utricularia and it grows exactly as Blom has described.

Linnaeus is arguing that it would be of great value to know whether the vesicles of the plant contain eggs from foreign orgaisms.

Linnaeus writes that he himself would enjoy to explain “Clave Medicinae” [Linnaeus refers to his Clavis medicinae duplexLinnaeus, Carl Clavis

Linnaeus writes that the small Ulva has to be further examined.
