Mycken tack för ducaterna pro labore af Clavis medicinae.

Det war wähl att H[err] Directeuren tycker om att förra delen delas i 2 band; Det bör ske där Classen af Insecterne nu begynnes, dock bör paginationen continuera hela förra delen igenom, att andra tomen ej begynner med nya nummer, för indicis skuld.

Linnaeus says that it was good that Salvius likes the idea of dividing the first part into two volumes. The second volume should start where the insect class starts now. However, Linnaeus wants the pagination to continue through the two volumes so that the second volume does not start with new numbers.
