to Linnaeus and reports that he intends to send Linnaeus some boxes with plants from Trianon. However, he does not think that the plants will be delivered to him in Stockholm before next spring, due to the interruptions in sea routes during winter.

Linnaeus had let Jussieu know that he could send rare Swedish plants for the Royal garden at Trianon. Breteuil will tell Linnaeus when the first ships are due to leave Stockholm for France, and then he will be ready to take care of the shipment and arrange for fast and safe transport.
