upSUMMARY

Linnaeus is extremely grateful for money received.

He is even more thankful for the loan of Act. Lond. [Linnaeus refers to the Philosophical Transactions published by the Royal Society, LondonRoyal Society, London,
British. The Royal Society was founded
in Oxford in 1645 and sanctioned as a
royal society in 1662.
].

The observation on ants is not acceptable. It is not an observation, but rather a speculation. What is said about Scarabaeus is wrong. The author does not even know how to spell Scarabaeus [there is no mentioning of the name of the author, the observation referred to was probably never published].
