naturalist. Correspondent of Linnaeus.
describes the worms found in poultry excrements. He does not know what to call the worm, which he considers to be a new genus.

Scopoli has had to comment on Michel AdansonísAdanson, Michel (1727-1806).

works since they show some drawbacks or mistakes in science.

Scopoli is eager to see Linnaeusís work on mineralogy [Scopoli refers to the third part of the Systema naturae, 12th editionLinnaeus, Carl Systema

], and he also asks for some specimens from Linnaeus just to be able to boast that he has received something from the great Linnaeus.
