Accepi quae tu, Vir Celeberrime, perhumaniter misisti semina, atque pro iis plurimas ago gratias. Media elapsa hyeme opportunam nactus occasionem misi ad Cl[arissimum] Philippum Miller collectionem nonnullorum seminum ad te mittendam, atque confido eam ad tuas manus pervenisse cum certa occasione usus sim. Iterum autem ex iis nonnulla quae maxime cupis semina his litteris includo uti Hortegiae dichotomae, Bassiae et Linderniae. Ortigam Fevill[ii] nondum vidi neque Calceolariam. Molucca frutescens in horto Taurinensi semina non maturat, sed pro sequenti anno illius semina ex loco natali curabo.

Pluries intermissum multis de causis opus meum florae Pedemontanae persequor, atque confido intra paucos menses eam praelo subiiciendam esse.

Cura salutem tuam, Vir Sapientissime, in naturalis historiae incrementum atque mihi porro favere perge!

a number of seeds meant for Linnaeus, and he hopes that Linnaeus has received them.

In this letter, Allioni encloses a number of seeds, and he hopes to send more later to be planted next year.

For several reasons, the work on the flora has again been delayed [Allioni refers to his Flora PedemontanaAllioni, Carlo Flora
