Linnaeus makes some comments and questions concerning Stachys, Carduus, Drypis and Trifolium apetalum.

On Anastatica Syriaca Linnaeus remarks that the character should be updated. Nicolaus Joseph von JacquinJacquin, Nicolaus Joseph, baron von

1755 at the order of emperor Franz I of
Austria he went to the Antilles and
South America. In 1763 he became
professor of mineralogy and chemistry at
Chemnitz, later professor of botany at
Vienna and director of the botanical
garden at Schönbrunn. Correspondent
of Linnaeus.
does well to publish a good picture of that plant with flower and leaves.

On the Campanula sent, Linnaeus has some additional questions before he can decide if it is a variety or a new species.
