Hill is eager to oblige Linnaeus. The new impression of his book [Hill refers to his Virtues of British HerbsHill, John Virtues of British
Herbs, with the history, description and
figures of the several kinds,
&c.

] will be finished in ten days, and it has taken more time than expected. Hill will deliver a complete set to Gerhard Gustaf Adam NolckenNolcken, Gerhard Gustaf Adam
(1733-1812). Swedish. Swedish envoy in
London 1764-1793.
, whose care he knows from before. He hopes Nolcken will be able to forward them to Sweden before the seasonal interruption of the mail service and that it avoids the dangers of sea transport. If it were to be lost, Hill will send another set.

Hill wishes Linnaeus a long and glorious life.
