Täckes M[in] H[err] Broder sända 100 plåtar till promotionen för H[err] Licentiaten till alla depenserne; d[en] 15 junii sker promotionen så wist jag lefwer och har hälsan.

Linnaeus writes in haste, asking Hans Jakob GahnGahn, Hans Jakob (1719-1782).

to send 100 copper plates, the amount required to pay for the promotion of Gahnís son [Henrik GahnGahn, Henrik (1747-1816).

Founder of the Swedish Society of
Medical Sciences in 1807. Correspondent
of Linnaeus. Son of hans Jacob Gahn and
brother of Hans Jacob Gahn the Younger.
], together with all expenses. The promotion will take place on 15th June 1772, God willing.

On the same day, Linnaeus urgently requests the father to drink a toast to Doctor Gahn.
