Europe, founded in 1716 by Pier Antonio
Micheli. Merged in 1783 with the
Accademia dei Georgofili, the first
agricultural academy in Europe, founded
in 1753.
]. The voting had been unanimous. Linnaeus is very glad and thanks Sauvages for this honour, which he hopes that he will prove worthy of. He will try to find an opportunity to show how much he appreciates it.
