upSUMMARY

Linnaeus has names for some of the Salix species sent but not for all of them. Also for most of the other plants mentioned, Linnaeus has short comments. Thus, for example, he is not satisfied with the detailed picture of the fruit of Cycas.

Theobroma augusta gives fruit also in Linnaeusís garden. He comments a little on the three species of the genus, especially on the differences between them.
