Correspondent of Linnaeus.
, whom he had met and whom he holds in great esteem.

On Kalmís and Linnaeusís request, Bartram sends Linnaeus several seeds. He has already sent Linnaeus a similar package, but as he never received an acknowledgement he does not know if Linnaeus ever got them.

Bartram asks Linnaeus to send him a short letter of confirmation.
