had been excluded from the proposal. Linnaeus says that he had put Bäck in the first place. Linnaeus submits it to the chancellor to consider the procedure whereby, in a Faculty consisting of two members, the dean with his casting vote is able to exclude from the final proposal a person Linnaeus had put in the first place.
