] about his troubles to get sufficient amount of manure for the Uppsala University Botanical Garden [LinnéträdgårdenLinnéträdgården,

Rudbeck the Elder in 1655.
]. If he canít be supplied with the sufficient amount of manure he will not be able to cultivate the rare seeds from abroad, which has been sent to him from many botanists. He suggests that the university stables should be obliged to deliver annually 100 wagon loads of manure to the garden.
