Min Herre.

The description of the gull should not be published, the author does not know the bird described [Linnaeus refers to the "Beskrifning på en fiskmås ifrån Lappland"Lidbeck, Erik Gustaf

Lappland", KVAH 25 (1764),

].

Neither should the observation on the Pectinit [Lidbeck’s,“Beskrifning om en pectinit” was read out at a meeting at the academy, but it was never published].

The description of the three footed eagle can be added to other monstrosities [Linnaeus refers to Lidbeck’s "Beskrifning på en trefotad örn"Lidbeck, Erik Gustaf

örn [...] ", KVAH, 23

The author [Lidbeck] should have told which bird he describes, if the species is unknown the observation becomes uninteresting.
