Wed fölgende pacquet fröer vorden til os addresseret af H[err] Professor P[eter] Forsskaal fra Lökelige Arabien. Det er kommen i mege slett tilstånd i vores haender, of af Rotterne i thübet fra Alexandrien hiid gandske ilde tilreedet, som det nu förefindes; wij har samlet saae meeget nemeligen kapseler tilsamen igien, men om nogen skulle mangle beeder at omskylde os.

, who had received a parcel containing seeds and roots from Peter ForsskålForsskål, Peter
(1732-1763). Swedish. Naturalist and
explorer. Linnaeusís student, professor
in Denmark in 1759. Joined a Danish
expedition to Egypt and Arabia in 1761.
Died at Jerîm, Arabia.
Correspondent of Linnaeus.
who was on his expedition in Arabia Felix. They report that the contents were not in the best condition when they arrived: the roots etc. were not well prepared. However, they have taken pains to put together as many capsules as possible and apologize if anything should be missing.
