Linnaeus. Defended the dissertation De morsura
serpentum pro exercitio under Linnaeus in
1762, and another pro gradu under Samuel
Aurivillius in 1764. Took his master´s
degree at the Surgical society in 1763. Lecturer
(adjunct) of medicine at the University of Uppsala
in 1767. professor of theoretical medicine there
in 1784 and of practical medicine in 1788. Married
to Anna Maria Borell. Son-in-law of Anders Borell.
Brother in-law of Wendla Sidrén. Nephew of
Olof af Acrel. Correspondent of Carl Linnnaeus the
to Carl Linnaeus the YoungerCarl Linnaeus the Younger (1741-1783).
Swedish. Botanist. Son of Carl Linnaeus and Sara
Elisabet Linnaea. Brother of Elisabeth Christina,
Louisa, Sara Christina and Sophia Linnaea.
Attended his fatherís lectures, had private tutors
(Löfling, Rolander, Solander and Falk, all
Linnaeusís students). Demonstrator of botany at
Uppsala. Succeeded his father.
